About me and my practiceAs a registered and accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), I am an independent, experienced and professional counsellor / psychotherapist and an approved Adoption counsellor for Barnardo's. I work with young people and adults, including couples, across a broad range of client concerns, for example, relationship issues, affairs and betrayals, family issues, depression, anxiety and generalised anxiety disorder and trauma. I compliment my private practice in Liphook, Hampshire which is close to Midhurst, West Sussex and Haslemere, Surrey with working for 2 counselling charities, social services, BUPA, Aviva, Axa PPP Healthcare, Aetna Global Benefits, The Priory and in education. QualificationsFdSc Counselling (Integrative) - Award: Merit - Greenwich University Additional InformationAs well as my commitment to Barnardo's, I also support clients referred from social services and various Employee Assistance Providers. My experience has helped me understand the importance of balancing work and home life and I have a particular interest in attachment styles, parenting and the challenge of work / life balance and pressures on the modern family; individual and couple. Previous involvement with Home-Start UK has also been invaluable. Additionally, I am a SAPERE Philosophy for Children level 1 teacher which has equipped me with further skills when working with young people.
